Every year, Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa (BBBSO) invites all Bigs and Littles from the Match Program, Meet You In School, Mentoring InSchool, Go Girls!, Bigs for a Day, and Littles on the wait list to our annual Holiday Party. With 200 people in attendance, the Holiday Party, held at the Museum of Science and Technology, was a fun-filled afternoon.

This year, our Bigs, Littles and a number of parents who attended could make tree ornaments, holiday cards, and play with K'NEX.  Everyone looked festive with their sparkly face paint provided by the Smile Factory. Magician "Genesis" dazzled plenty while Dance Dance Revolution and interactive Break-Dancers got everyone on their feet.  Bigs and Littles hammed it up in a photo booth provided by MasterMind Events, a great way to record memories of a fantastic event! Many lined up to play Rock Band and it looks as though there may be some budding stars in our midst. 

Our practicum students, Jennifer and Chelsea, spent much time gathering donations and great prizes for the free raffle. Littles were very excited to win tickets to Mid-Way, gift certificates to the Rideau Centre, gifts from Miss Tiggy Winkles, passes to the Kanata Wave Pool, passes to Cosmic Adventures, passes to the Museum of Civilization, tickets to the Ottawa 67's, and more! A few lucky Bigs left with East Side Mario gift certificates and a signed hockey stick from Ottawa Senator's Christoph Schubert. Thank you to all who donated a raffle prize item!
