MasterCard Canada and Roots Canada have officially kicked-off the holiday season by launching Give a Little for Something Big, a national in-store fundraising initiative in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada's (BBBSC) In-School Mentoring Program.

As the big Apprenticeship Finale unfolded Monday night, anticipation mounted for the five teams whose efforts and fundraisers helped raise awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa (BBBSO) over the past eight weeks.

With our Enrollment Coordinator meeting new families and Littles each month our Little Brothers and Little Sisters on the waitlist are getting more anxious to be introduced to their very own Big.  Meet a couple of Littles from the West End, James and Sarah, who are both looking for energetic and outgoing Bigs.

We  are very excited about a new pilot program that will be beginning in January 2009. With approximately 100 Little Brothers anxiously waiting for their own Big Brother, we are launching the Big Bunch program.
