Grâce à deux événements qui ont connu beaucoup de succès, aux généreux donateurs et aux nombreuses sociétés partenaires, 2008 a été une année merveilleuse pour le développement des ressources de l'organisme Grands Frères Grandes Sœurs d'Ottawa (GFGSO).

With two very successful events, generous donors and many corporate partners, 2008 was a wonderful year for Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa (BBBSO) Resource Development.

This November, Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa (BBBSO) held their 38^th annual Big Art fundraising event. This year's event held special meaning to one of our Bigs, Chantal, who graciously donated something close to her heart.

À chaque année Grands Frères Grandes Soeurs d'Ottawa (GFGSO) organise sa GRANDE fête de Noël pour tous nos Petits sur la liste d'attente, tous nos jumelages (traditionnels ou de mentorat scolaire), Grands d'un jour ainsi que nos mentors du programme « Allez les filles! ». Évidemment, avec tout ce beau monde rempli d'énergie, le Musée des sciences et technologies vibrait tellement le plaisir était au rendez-vous.

Every year, Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa (BBBSO) invites all Bigs and Littles from the Match Program, Meet You In School, Mentoring InSchool, Go Girls!, Bigs for a Day, and Littles on the wait list to our annual Holiday Party. With 200 people in attendance, the Holiday Party, held at the Museum of Science and Technology, was a fun-filled afternoon.

Fall 2008 has been an excellent season for our matches.  As Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa (BBBSO) always encourages low cost, or even no cost activities, we are always happy to be able to provide lots of fun and free opportunities.
